Newfoundland Ghost Story Project

The Reverend (and his long suffering manservant, Dale Jarvis) are always on the lookout for true tales of hauntings, ghosts and spirits from Newfoundland and Labrador. If you have a ghost story or spooky tale from Newfoundland or Labrador, please email it in! Many of the stories will be posted here, and all names will be kept confidential and anonymous unless specifically requested.

Dale Jarvis is a researcher, writer, folklorist and tour guide living in St. John's Newfoundland. His column on the paranormal side of the province "Newfoundland Unexplained" runs every other Monday in The Telegram, and he is a frequent contributor to The Downhomer Magazine. His book "Haunted Shores: True Ghost Stories of Newfoundland and Labrador" was published by Flanker Press in May 2004. If you know a good story you think he could use, send him a note.
