Newfoundland Ghost Story Project
Dale Jarvis is a researcher, writer, folklorist and tour guide living in St. John's Newfoundland. His column on the paranormal side of the province "Newfoundland Unexplained" runs every other Monday in The Telegram, and he is a frequent contributor to The Downhomer Magazine. His book "Haunted Shores: True Ghost Stories of Newfoundland and Labrador" was published by Flanker Press in May 2004. If you know a good story you think he could use, send him a note. Do you currently live in a haunted house in Newfoundland or Labrador? Did you? Did your grandfather? Tell all!
The Newfoundland Ghost Story Project is an attempt to gather together a large collection of tales from all across the province, and your help is needed! Send your email to hauntedhike@nf.sympatico.ca, or if you would like to talk to a real live person, phone 709-685-3444.
By submitting a story, the writer gives permission for the story to be used, edited or reprinted by Dale Jarvis and/or the St. John's Haunted Hike, either on this website or in any other form of media. If you have concerns about privacy or anonymity, please contact Dale and let him know!
