St. John's Storytelling Circle May 8, 2008
- Do you like listening to stories and recitations?
- Would you like to learn more about storytelling?
- Are you a storyteller at heart, looking for an audience?
Anyone interested in cultivating the traditional art of Newfound
land storytelling is invited to an informal gathering of storytellers and lovers of a good story. Both experienced storytellers and newcomers are welcome. Just want to listen? Then come along! Every kind of story or recitation can be told as long as it's by word of mouth, rather than being read aloud.
The St. John's Storytelling Circle will run from 7:30-9:30 at the Crow’s Nest Officer’s Club, with opportunities for new storytellers to spin a yarn. The Crow’s Nest is located off the public stairs at the east side of the War Memorial on Duckworth Street, St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. (Map It)
